On Saturday, October 17, 2020, around 4 PM, officers conducted a traffic stop in the Walgreens parking lot. Officers contacted 24-year old Jose Consepsion Pineda Velasques of Morgan Hill and 21-year old Nicholas Noel Juarez of Gilroy. Both were also found to have ties to the Norteno Criminal Street gang.
During the traffic stop, a loaded firearm and narcotics were located.
Velasques was arrested for possession of a loaded firearm and Juarez was arrested for possession of a loaded firearm and possession of narcotics. Both were booked and later transported to the Fresno County Jail.
