Amid confusion and disappointment, many residents are asking the big question: Why did CRMC end up in such dire straits? Who is responsible? Why did the board allow this to happen? Why did the collapse only become totally apparent immediately after former CEO Sharon Spurgeon retired? Could the failure have been avoided if intervention had occurred earlier?
Dr. Gordon L. Thurston who formerly worked with CRMC has filed this case with the Fresno County Grand Jury.
