On November 19, 2021, around 11:30 PM, Officers from the Coalinga Police Department were dispatched and responded to the area of Fastrip after receiving reports of shots fired.
At that same time, other Coalinga police officers were involved in an unrelated vehicle stop near Coalinga Middle School and heard the shots. Officers arrived on scene and canvassed the area for a vehicle possibly involved in the incident. It was described as a silver-colored Honda and was last seen fleeing the area in a southerly direction.
During the investigation, it was determined that two adult males from Coalinga had been hit by gunfire during the incident. One subject was hit in the lower torso while the second victim had been shot in both knees.
The victims fled the scene prior to officer’s arrival and later arrived at Coalinga Regional Medical
Center for medical treatment. One victim was transported to Fresno Regional Medical Center by

Both men were uncooperative with officers and declined to provide any statements regarding the shooting.
