Traffic Stop Nets Gang Member And A Gun

Gang Member Arrested for Firearms Charges

On Sunday, May 17, 2020, at approximately 10:30 PM, Coalinga Police Officers initiated a traffic stop of a vehicle for expired registration. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Coalinga resident, Gracie Pulido. Pulido was found to be unlicensed and was issued a citation for driving without a license, no insurance and expired registration as of 2015.

Officers at the scene conducted a search of the vehicle. Upon completing an inventory of the vehicle prior to it being towed, officers found a loaded .357 Magnum revolver under the passenger seat. Ricardo Aguilera, who was a passenger in the vehicle, initially tried to leave the area when the vehicle was initially stopped, but was detained by officers. Aguilera, a Coalinga resident, is a known Bulldog Criminal Street Gang Member. He was arrested for possession of a firearm by a felon / addict; felon carrying a loaded firearm and being a member of a street gang in possession of a firearm. Aguilera was transported to the Fresno County Jail.
