On July 15th, 2025, officers were dispatched to the Coalinga Regional Medical Center regarding a dog theft report. Officers contacted the victim who said he had been in and out of the waiting room, with his dog, waiting for his wife to be seen throughout the day. At about 9pm, his wife was admitted so he tied his dog to a tree outside of the emergency room while he took care of some things for his wife. When he came back to check on his dog, he found that it was gone. Further investigation revealed that two older females had untied the dog and had taken it.

Officers have been working with Gimmie Love Animal Shelter to make sure the dog was not turned into them, with no luck.
Officers are seeking the publics assistance in identifying the two older females so they may be questioned as to what they did with the dog. The owner obviously wants his dog back.
If anybody has any information about the three females in this photo, please contact Officer Carias at 559-935-1525. You can remain anonymous.
