Near Coalinga High School
On January 27th, 2024, officers were dispatched to a report of a robbery that had occurred near the Coalinga High School. Officers learned that a high school student had been confronted by two male juveniles, also high school aged, in the area near the school on January 18th, 2024. During the confrontation, the suspects took several pieces of jewelry from the victim. Through the investigation, officers learned the identity of the two suspects and found they had ties to the Bulldog Criminal Street Gang.
The two suspects were arrested at school on February 2, 2024, and search warrants were served at their residences in an attempt to recover the stolen property. Some of the property was recovered, along with gang indicia, further linking them to the criminal street gang.
The two juveniles were later transported to the Fresno County Juvenile Justice Campus on charges of robbery, attempting to dissuade a witness, and participation in a criminal street gang.
