Who: Parents/caregivers of children who are required to ride in a car seat.
Your child’s life depends on a car seat; that is why it is important to make sure it is properly installed. Officers from the California Highway Patrol will be teaming up with Valley Children’s Hospital, Safe Kids Central California, Tulare County Health and Human Services Agency, and Allstate – Kunkleman Insurance Company to host a Child Passenger Safety Seat Check-Up Event in Visalia, California. Those attending are asked to bring their vehicle, their child, and the car seat the child is currently using. Car seat technicians will be available to check the current child safety seat for defects and recalls. Technicians will also educate adults on the proper installation methods to ensure each child is properly secured in their child seat.
There is no charge for this event, and no appointment is necessary.
